Mdm Kamisah

Padi Farm

Mdm Kamisah and her group of volunteers (aunties who live around the area) tend to the Padi Farm, which doesn't actually grow any padi (rice). Their farm sits on the roof of a residential carpark, and a wide variety of produce and flowers are grown. They have everything from leafy greens, to sweet potatoes, and even mulberries! The farmers tend to the farm twice a day, and love to show people around their grounds.

What they provide Harvest to Home: Lettuce, Leafy Cabbage, Kang Kong, Rosella

Mdm Kamisah runs the delivery stand on Mondays at West Coast Community Centre.

We work together with small and medium scale local farms to bring the freshest produce to you. Our farmers pour their hearts into growing food in an environmentally friendly manner. Read more about them below!

JJ

Zhong Cai Organic Farm

Zhong Cai Organic Farm is a family-run business that established itself as an organic business in 1999. They grow different types of vegetables, herbs and fruits on their farm, and produce their own compost using their unique composting methods. They run tours on their farm, and would more than love it for people to visit their farm and learn about how produce is grown in an environmentally-friendly manner.

What they provide Harvest to Home: Zucchini, Bittergourd,

Rocket Lettuce (Arugula), Xiao Bai Cai, Cai Xin, Kai Lan

JJ runs the delivery stand on Wednesdays at Clementi Community Centre.

Joanne

Wa Ni Tu Farm

Wa Ni Tu Farm is modelled to be a food forest, where plants are free to grow on top of each other and intermingle just as they do in forests in order to achieve efficient and mutually beneficial growth. Joanne is a huge proponent of getting people to eat wild plants or parts of plants they aren't used to, such as banana flowers. She takes her organic growing seriously, and reminds all visitors that nature should be respected and appreciated.

What they provide Harvest to Home: Local Cucumber, Guava, Papaya, Banana

Joanne runs the delivery stand on Fridays at Buona Vista Community Centre.
